Company history
Established in 1874, Pukkila has a long tradition in producing and marketing ceramic tiles. During the past 130 years Pukkila has played an important part in the Finnish construction and interior furnishing business. Our factory has been situated in its present location since the 1930s. Today, Pukkila is the leader in the ceramic tiles market and one of the most well known brands in the building materials industry in Finland.
Pukkila has always been internationally oriented and started importing ceramic tiles as early as the 1920s. In 1995, Pukkila became a part of the international Ricchetti Group, which was the first company in the ceramic sector to be listed at the Milan stock exchange in 1996. The products of Ricchetti Group complement the Pukkila range by bringing in elements of continental style and ceramics tradition.
